Jay Berkowitz
Before coming to Tuscan Ridge Golf Club in 2005, Jay was the head instructor at the Boulders Golf Center in San Leandro for four years and the Assistant Golf Coach for both the men’s and women's golf teams at the University of California at Berkeley for three seasons. He was a three-year team captain, former #1 player, and "All-Pac 10 Team" player for the nationally-ranked Cal men’s golf team. Overall, he posted 12 top 10 performances, including a personal best second-place finish at the Western Intercollegiate before graduating in 1999. Jay also appeared in two U.S. Amateurs and one Public Links Championship. Jay has been the lead instructor for the Nike Jr. Junior Golf Camps at Pebble Beach for eleven years and continues to Co-Direct the camps. He has worked with numerous top amateurs, nationally ranked juniors, Division One college standouts, as well as players from the PGA, European, Nationwide, and Canadian tours. Jay is currently the General Manager and Director of Instruction at Tuscan Ridge Golf Club.
