The Second Annual Humboldt Fire Memorial Shootout is planned for an exciting day of events that includes a pre-tournament lunch, a fun day of golf, followed up by a post-tournament awards banquet. Also included for every participant are gifts and the opportunity to win great prizes.

Our Goal & Cause

The Second Annual Humboldt Fire Memorial Shootout was created to have a lot of fun and raise needed funds in support of two great causes. Sawmill Peak Lookout located near the town of Paradise. This tower is responsible for the early detection of wild fires located in Paradise, Magalia, Stirling City, Forest Ranch, and Concow. This lookout is essential for catching fires before they get too large tand difficult to put out. The Sawmill Peak Lookout also assists in directing aircraft to the fires and personnel on the ground.

Butte County Firefighters' Burn and Benevolent Fund

The BBF was established to provide financial assistance to firefighters and other emergency responders of Butte County. The financial assistance program is designed to offer assistance to firefighter and first responder families in the casses of death, disability, or serious injury. With your participation this local charity will be able to continue with its goal of providing financial assistance to citizens of Butte County directly impacted by emergencies and other "events."
